1) The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has on 12 September 2026 released a consultation paper on changes to the Closing Auction Session (CAS) framework and derivatives settlement methodology. The proposal addresses the expiry day settlement for futures and options (F&O) stocks, market timings and the price-discovery mechanisms in the Indian securities market.
भारतीय रोखे आणि विनिमय मंडळाने (सेबी) 12 सप्टेंबर 2026 रोजी ‘क्लोजिंग लिलाव सत्र’ (CAS) कार्यपद्धती आणि डेरिव्हेटिव्ह्जच्या सेटलमेंट (व्यवहार पूर्तता) पद्धतीमधील बदलांबाबत एक ‘परामर्श पत्र’ (consultation paper) जारी केले आहे. या प्रस्तावात फ्यूचर्स आणि ऑप्शन्स (F&O) समभागांच्या मुदतपूर्ती दिनाचे (expiry day) सेटलमेंट, बाजाराच्या वेळा आणि भारतीय रोखे बाजारातील किंमत-निर्धारण यंत्रणा या बाबींचा समावेश आहे.
2) The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has levied a monetary penalty of ₹1 crore on IndusInd Bank for non-compliance with insurance-related grievance redressal and reporting requirements. The penalty order was issued on 10 September 2026 and was received by the bank on 11 September 2026.
विमा-संबंधित तक्रार निवारण आणि अहवाल सादर करण्याच्या नियमांचे पालन न केल्याबद्दल, ‘इन्शुरन्स रेग्युलेटरी अँड डेव्हलपमेंट अथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया’ने (IRDAI) इंडसइंड बँकेवर 1 कोटी रुपयांचा आर्थिक दंड ठोठावला आहे. दंडाचा हा आदेश 10 सप्टेंबर 2026 रोजी जारी करण्यात आला आणि बँकेला तो 11 सप्टेंबर 2026 रोजी प्राप्त झाला.
3) Southern Railroad has achieved 100% electrification of its Broad Gage network of 5,068 route kilometers. The milestone was achieved after electrification of the last 71 km Pattukkottai-Karaikkudi section in Tamil Nadu.
सदर्न रेल्वेने आपल्या 5,068 मार्ग-किलोमीटर (route kilometers) लांबीच्या ब्रॉड गेज नेटवर्कचे 100% विद्युतीकरण पूर्ण केले आहे. तामिळनाडूतील पट्टुकोट्टई-कारैकुडी या शेवटच्या 71 किमीच्या टप्प्याचे विद्युतीकरण झाल्यानंतर हा टप्पा गाठण्यात आला.
4) QClairvoyance Quantum Labs Pvt Ltd signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the IITM-C-DOT Samgnya Technologies Foundation on 11 September 2026. The partnership will cover quantum computing, quantum algorithms, quantum artificial intelligence and next-generation computing as well as post-quantum cybersecurity.
QClairvoyance Quantum Labs Pvt Ltd ने 11 सप्टेंबर 2026 रोजी IITM-C-DOT Samgnya Technologies Foundation सोबत सामंजस्य करार केला. या भागीदारीमध्ये क्वांटम कम्प्युटिंग, क्वांटम अल्गोरिदम्स, क्वांटम आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजन्स आणि पुढच्या पिढीचे कम्प्युटिंग, तसेच पोस्ट-क्वांटम सायबर सुरक्षा या क्षेत्रांचा समावेश असेल.
5) India and the United States have broadened their collaboration on undersea cable networks as part of the US-India TRUST (Transforming the Relationship Utilizing Strategic Technologies) initiative. The partnership includes subsea systems that carry more than 95% of global digital traffic, underpining international communications, financial services, cloud computing and the global digital economy.
‘यूएस-इंडिया ट्रस्ट’ (स्ट्रॅटेजिक तंत्रज्ञानाचा वापर करून संबंधांचे रूपांतर करणारा उपक्रम) या पुढाकाराचा एक भाग म्हणून, भारत आणि अमेरिकेने समुद्राखालच्या केबल नेटवर्कबाबतचे आपले सहकार्य अधिक व्यापक केले आहे. या भागीदारीमध्ये समुद्राखालच्या अशा प्रणालींचा समावेश आहे ज्या जागतिक डिजिटल वाहतुकीपैकी 95 टक्क्यांहून अधिक वाहतूक वाहून नेतात आणि आंतरराष्ट्रीय दळणवळण, वित्तीय सेवा, क्लाउड कम्प्युटिंग व जागतिक डिजिटल अर्थव्यवस्थेचा आधार बनतात.
6) Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways launched One Tag system at Global Fintech Fest 2026 in Mumbai on September 11, 2026. The facility will enable FASTag users to change the backend issuing bank without removing and replacing the physical sticker on the vehicle windshield.
रस्ते वाहतूक आणि महामार्ग केंद्रीय मंत्र्यांनी 11 सप्टेंबर 2026 रोजी मुंबईत आयोजित ‘ग्लोबल फिनटेक फेस्ट 2026’ मध्ये ‘वन टॅग’ (One Tag) प्रणालीचे अनावरण केले. या सुविधेमुळे FASTag वापरकर्त्यांना वाहनाच्या विंडशील्डवरील प्रत्यक्ष स्टिकर न काढता किंवा न बदलता, बॅकएंडला सेवा देणारी बँक (issuing bank) बदलणे शक्य होणार आहे.
7) The Supreme Court of India has asked the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) to file a clear scientifically backed timeline for the second phase of Front-of-Package Labeling (FoPL) on packaged foods. It is about warning labels on products high in fat, sugar or salt and the next hearing will be held on 28 September.
भारताच्या सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने ‘फूड सेफ्टी अँड स्टँडर्ड्स ऑथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया’ला (FSSAI) पॅकबंद खाद्यपदार्थांवरील ‘फ्रंट-ऑफ-पॅकेज लेबलिंग’च्या (FoPL) दुसऱ्या टप्प्यासाठी वैज्ञानिक आधारावर आधारित एक स्पष्ट कालमर्यादा (टाइमलाइन) सादर करण्यास सांगितले आहे. हा विषय चरबी, साखर किंवा मीठ यांचे प्रमाण जास्त असलेल्या उत्पादनांवरील ‘इशारा देणाऱ्या लेबल्स’शी (warning labels) संबंधित असून, या प्रकरणाची पुढील सुनावणी 28 सप्टेंबर रोजी होणार आहे.
8) China Southern Airlines will restart regular passenger flights between Guangzhou and New Delhi from 21 September 2026. The service marks the resumption of China Southern’s India operations after a six-year hiatus and adds one daily round-trip flight on the Guangzhou-New Delhi sector.
चायना सदर्न एअरलाईन्स 21 सप्टेंबर 2026 पासून ग्वांगझू आणि नवी दिल्ली दरम्यान नियमित प्रवासी विमानसेवा पुन्हा सुरू करणार आहे. सहा वर्षांच्या खंडानंतर चायना सदर्नची भारतातील सेवा पुन्हा सुरू होणे ही या उपक्रमाची वैशिष्ट्यपूर्ण बाब असून, यामुळे ग्वांगझू-नवी दिल्ली मार्गावर दररोजच्या एका येण्या-जाण्याच्या (round-trip) विमानफेरीची भर पडणार आहे.
