Interview Venue

All shortlisted candidates must report to the Office of the Punjab Public Service Commission, Baradari Gardens, Patiala - 147001 as per their allotted date and reporting time mentioned in Annexure-A.

Documents Required at the Time of Interview (In Original)

Candidates must carry the following original documents along with self-attested photocopies, as applicable:

  • Proof of Date of Birth: Certificate of Matriculation/Higher Secondary
  • Proof of having passed Punjabi language
  • Relevant Degree and DMC (Detailed Marks Certificate)
  • Sports Gradation Certificate issued by the competent authority (if applicable)
  • Persons with Disability Certificate issued by the competent authority (if applicable)
  • Reserve Category Certificate issued by the competent authority (if applicable)
  • Latest Punjab Residence Certificate (for all Reserve Categories including Female and EWS candidates who have applied in the General Category), issued by the competent authority
  • ESM (Ex-Serviceman) Certificates/Documents mentioning:
    • Date of Enrollment
    • Date of Release/Discharge
    • Reason of Release/Discharge
  • For LDESM (Legally Disabled Ex-Serviceman) candidates: original LDESM certificate (if applicable)
  • Certificate as proof of age relaxation claim (if applicable)
  • Certificate as proof of fee concession (if applicable)
  • Proof of being a government employee (if applicable)
  • Original documents to claim exemption from passing Punjabi language up to Matric or its equivalent standard (if applicable)
  • Duly filled Bio-Data Sheet (proforma available on the PPSC website)

PPSC Bio-Data Sheet: Details Required

Along with the above documents, candidates must submit a duly filled Bio-Data Sheet containing the following details:

  • Interview Date, Session, and Roll Number
  • Name of the post applied for
  • Candidate's Name, Father's Name, and Date of Birth
  • Details of having passed Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent standard (Board/Institution and Year of Passing)
  • Academic details: Name of Degree, Board/University, Year of Passing, Marks Obtained/Total Marks, and Percentage of Marks
  • Hobbies/Areas of Interest (to be ticked): Government, Political, Environment Issues, Foreign Policy, Social, Science and Technology, International Issues, or any other
  • A self-attested photograph affixed on the form
  • Candidate's signature declaring the information is correct and true

The Bio-Data Sheet also requires space for verification, to be signed by the officer checking certificates and the Superintendent verifying the form.

Important Instructions

  • The interview schedule pertains only to candidates provisionally shortlisted for document scrutiny; it is not a final selection or merit list.
  • Candidates must report at the exact time mentioned against their roll number in Annexure-A.
  • All documents listed above must be brought in original, along with self-attested photocopies.
  • The Commission has stated that while every care has been taken in preparing and uploading this notice, inadvertent or technical errors cannot be ruled out, and the Commission reserves the right to rectify such errors later.
