CSIR NBRI Recruitment 2026 Age Limit

The upper age limit is 35 years for most Project Associate-I/II and Project Assistant-II posts, and 40 years for Senior-PAT and Project Scientist-II posts. For Young Professional-II, the eligible age range is 21 to 45 years as on 31 March 2026. Age relaxation of 5 years is applicable for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates, and 3 years for OBC candidates.

CSIR NBRI Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

Selection is through a walk-in interview. However, if a large number of candidates turn up, a screening test comprising multiple-choice objective questions may be conducted to shortlist candidates for the interview. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by the Selection Committee, and a panel of recommended candidates will be formed based on interview performance. This panel will be utilised as and when requirements arise in the relevant field/project. Candidates have the option to interact with the committee in Hindi or English. If a large number of candidates attend, the interview may continue into the next day.
