KV No. 1 AFS Jodhpur PGT and TGT Eligibility 2026

PGT (Physics): essential

• A two-year Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc course of the Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject; OR a Master Degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in Physics / Electronics / Applied Physics / Nuclear Physics.
• A B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognised university.
• Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.

TGT (Science): essential

• A four-year Integrated degree course of the Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate; OR a Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects or combination of subjects and in aggregate. For TGT (Science), the subjects are Botany, Zoology and Chemistry.
• A B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognised university.
• A pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET Level-2), conducted by CBSE in line with NCTE guidelines.
• Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.

TGT (English)

The official notification does not specify the minimum educational qualification. The notice does say that proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English is essential for every category of teacher.

Desirable (all posts)

Knowledge of computer applications.
