Odisha Renewable Energy Development Agency (OREDA) has announced 1 vacancy for the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on a deputation basis for up to 5 years, or till attaining the age of superannuation, or repatriation by the parent organisation, whichever is earlier. Applicants must be serving in the State Government or a State Public Sector Undertaking holding the rank of Special Secretary, Executive Director, Chief General Manager or equivalent in Pay Matrix Level-17 for a minimum of 5 years, and must not be more than 60 years of age as on the closing date of application. Who Can Apply

Candidates must meet the following eligibility and experience criteria:

• Must be serving in the State Government or a State Public Sector Undertaking.
• Must have held the rank of Special Secretary, Executive Director, Chief General Manager or equivalent, in Pay Matrix Level-17 or equivalent, for a minimum period of 5 years.
• Must possess a minimum of 30 years of professional experience.
• Must possess at least 5 years of experience in project approval, land acquisition, and execution of large projects, with adequate knowledge of applicable statutory and other clearances.
• Must not be more than 60 years of age as on the closing date of application.

Desirable Qualification: Candidates having an Engineering background with an MBA qualification will be preferred.

Pay and Terms

The selected candidate will be appointed on deputation from eligible officers of the Government of Odisha or State Public Sector Undertakings in Pay Matrix Level-17. The period of deputation shall be up to 5 years, or till attaining the age of superannuation, or repatriation by the parent organisation, whichever is earlier, subject to applicable rules and terms of deputation.

The Role

The Chief Executive Officer will lead NIRL OREDA Renewables Limited, a Joint Venture Company of NLC India Renewables Limited and OREDA Limited, and contribute to the development of 1,000 MW Green Energy Projects along with allied green-energy businesses, including potential 250 MW Wind Power and 225 MW Floating Solar projects at its first phase.
