Conveyance charges are payable based on actual days of attendance subject to policy limits. For local travel (up to 30 kms one way), conveyance charges are given on actual basis linked with biometric attendance with an upper ceiling of Rs. 4500 per month. For long-distance travel beyond 30 kms one way, the upper ceiling is Rs. 6000/- per month on a case-to-case basis.

The selection process consists of a walk-in personal interview.
Walk-in Interview Details
Candidates fulfilling the eligibility conditions may walk-in for a personal interview along with the application in the prescribed format and relevant documents/testimonials in original and one set of photocopies. Interviews will be conducted from 08.10.2026 to 15.10.2026 between 09:00 AM and 04:00 PM at BHEL Hospital, TP, Jhansi. Interviews may be continued on the next working day if not completed on the assigned date.

BHEL Important Instructions
- All engagements are purely on a temporary, part-time basis for a period of one year and are not against any permanent vacancy.
- Subsequent renewals are limited to a maximum of 3 years subject to satisfactory performance and management discretion.
- A notice period of one month on either side applies for discontinuing the part-time engagement.
- Working hours will be as per the duty schedule/roster decided by the Medical Superintendent.
- Candidates employed in Central/State Government, Autonomous bodies, or PSUs must submit a 'No Objection Certificate' at the time of interview or produce a relieving order upon selection.
