Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: M.Sc. (Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences/ Meteorology/ Physical Oceanography); M.Tech. (Atmospheric/Oceanic Sciences)
- Age limit: Maximum 32 years
Other conditions:
- Indian Nationals only
Desirable:
- Thorough understanding of marine atmospheric boundary layer dynamics, atmospheric turbulence processes, meteorological and oceanic interactions over the North Indian Ocean
- Experience in atmospheric measurements, numerical modelling, and data analysis using satellite or in-situ observations
- Experience in handling and processing satellite and in-situ meteorological or oceanographic data
- Proficiency in computer programming using Python, MATLAB, Fortran, or C, and shell scripting
- Working knowledge of Linux/UNIX platforms
- Skill in data visualization and analysis using tools such as GrADS, NCL, Ferret, CDO, or similar scientific software

- Position offered initially for six months and can be extended based on progress and review every six months
