Essential Qualification
Master's Degree in the relevant subject.
Experience
Candidates need experience in the field directly relevant to the University target group, along with experience in one or more of these areas:
- Website and portal development and management, including ASP.NET, Java, PHP, Oracle, MySQL, Web Services and related application development including dot net, server network and backup maintenance
- Database Administration, ERP, e-Office, e-HRMS and SAMARTH Portal
- IT project management, documentation and reporting

- Good knowledge of IT infrastructure and communication technology
- Good understanding of Windows systems, databases and cloud platforms
- Good understanding of cybersecurity, data privacy and information security
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently as well as with multidisciplinary teams

Scope of Work and Job Responsibilities
- Providing technical advice and strategic support on IT-related matters
- Planning, implementing and monitoring IT infrastructure and systems
- Managing networks, servers, databases, applications and cloud-based services
- Ensuring IT system security, data protection, backup and disaster-recovery arrangements
- Identifying and resolving technical issues and ensuring minimum downtime
- Supporting digital transformation and automation initiatives
- Preparing technical specifications, reports, proposals and IT-related documentation
- Coordinating with IT vendors, service providers and other stakeholders
- Monitoring compliance with applicable IT policies, standards and security requirements
- Performing any other IT-related duties assigned by the competent authority
