Electrical Engineering – Desirable

• Electrical Estimation and Costing: preparation of detailed estimates, BOQ, rate analysis, quantity take-off, material costing, cable sizing, and estimation based on CPWD/DSR rates.
• Training in estimation, costing and tender documentation.

Civil Engineering – Desirable

• Postgraduate Diploma/Certificate course in Construction Management, Project Management or Quality Control.
• Certification in AutoCAD, STAAD, Primavera, MS Project or other relevant civil engineering software.
• Training in estimation, costing and tender documentation.

Pharmacy – Desirable

• Working knowledge of MS Office and digital inventory logging and fundamental emergency first-aid awareness.

Who Is Not Eligible

• A person who has been convicted by any Court of Law, or against whom criminal proceedings are pending.
• A person who is not a citizen of India.
• Any other category of person disqualified for appointment by the Govt. of India/UGC.
• Candidates whose degrees, diplomas or certificates come from an institution that the University Grants Commission, New Delhi, has declared fake or derecognised.

Degrees must have been awarded by a recognized University / Institute. Applicants are responsible for checking their own eligibility for the training field. For the discipline-specific eligibility of each post, candidates should refer to the official notification.

Pay and Tenure

• Duration: one year at first, which may be extended by a maximum of one more year. The longest possible engagement is 2 years.
• Working days: selected trainees must work 6 days a week, in their own field (Management, Electrical Engineering / Civil Engineering or Pharmacy).
• Leave: 01 day of leave for each completed month of training.
• Location: Fursatganj, Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, or any other location as the University requires.
• Termination: any indiscipline or irregularity will lead to the training being cut short without any reason being given and without prior notice.
• No regular post: a Professional Trainee has no right to claim any benefit, compensation, absorption or regularisation of service with the University, and will not be given seniority in any grade of the University.
• Offer of appointment: the terms and conditions are sent to selected candidates in an offer of appointment. If a candidate does not accept them within the stipulated time, the offer is treated as withdrawn.

• Trainees must not give opinions or advice against the interest of the office, and must not take up any business or professional activity that conflicts with their assigned work.
• No correspondence will be entertained about how the selection was conducted, its result, or why a candidate was not selected.
• The Vice-Chancellor's decision is final in any dispute about eligibility, acceptance or rejection of applications, the mode of selection, or the conduct of the examination/interview. The University may modify, withdraw or cancel any communication if a mistake is found, even after an appointment order has been issued.
• Disputes are subject to Courts / Tribunals having jurisdiction over Lucknow.
