- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree with Qualified Chartered Accountants (CA) or Cost Accountant (CMA)
- Experience: 25+ years post qualification experience in a Central PSU / State PSU / Private Company of repute in an Executive Position as on 01/10/2026.
- Age limit: Maximum 56 years (as on 1 October 2026)

- Conduct regulatory financial analysis for tariff petitions to ensure proper billing and true-up recoveries.
- Execute long-term financial planning, capital structuring, and dividend distribution strategies.
- Lead corporate tax planning, input pricing between fuel procurement, and consolidated financial reporting.
- Monitor and analyze fuel costs, heat rate efficiencies, and auxiliary power consumption.
- Oversee plant-level cost accounting and inventory valuation.

- Track and control Plant O&M budgets, tracking breakdowns and shut-down financial impacts.
- Maintain the plant fixed asset register, tracking heavy machinery depreciation and capital spare parts.
