Selection Process
Selection will be based on qualification, experience and interview performance. The Selection Committee's decision will be final and binding.
- Applications are shortlisted, and only shortlisted candidates are informed by email or phone.
- Shortlisted candidates report to the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department office for certificate verification.
- A technical interview follows, on a date that will be sent by email.
NEHU reserves all rights to select or reject a candidature and to cancel the interview without giving a reason.
Service Conditions
- The appointment is purely temporary and contractual, and it is co-terminus with the project.
- It runs initially up to 31 March 2027 and is renewable on a yearly basis, extendable subject to satisfactory performance.
- The monthly salary is subject to the availability of project funds.
- The selected candidate cannot claim permanent absorption in NEHU, and the Institute will not provide employment after the project ends.
- All other terms and conditions follow prevailing Institute rules.

Can I apply without GATE or UGC NET?
