Educational Qualification
Subedar (Ministerial) Stenographer
Candidates must satisfy all the following requirements:
- Passed Higher Secondary or 10+2 examination from a recognized board.
- Passed Hindi shorthand examination at a speed of 100 words per minute from a recognized board, council, polytechnic, ITI or equivalent institution.
- Possess a valid CPCT certificate with Hindi typing.
- Possess an approved computer qualification.
Assistant Sub-Inspector (Ministerial)
Candidates must satisfy the following requirements:
- Passed the 10+2 or Class 12 examination from a recognized board or institution.
- Possess a valid CPCT certificate with Hindi typing.
- Possess an approved Degree, Diploma or certificate in computers or information technology.
Accepted Computer Qualifications
Depending on the post, the notification accepts qualifications such as:
- Engineering Degree in the relevant computer or information technology field
- MCA
- BCA
- M.Sc. in Computer Science or Information Technology
- AICTE-approved Polytechnic Diploma
- DOEACC Diploma-level examination

Selection Process
The MP Police Subedar Stenographer and ASI selection process includes:
- First-stage online written examination
