Posts and Eligibility

The recruitment is conducted for 02 vacancies of Medical Officer (Vaidyakiya Adhikari) on a contract basis. The eligibility details are outlined below:

• Qualification & Experience: Special qualification or a minimum of 3 years of work experience in the relevant field or post. The official notification does not specify any particular educational degree.

• Age Limit: Generally up to 65 years of age. Under special circumstances, with the approval of the competent authority, service may continue up to 70 years of age. In no case will service be permitted after completing 70 years of age.

• Tender processes (Nivida Prakriya)
• Procurement of medicines, medical equipment, and other medical materials
• Processing of bills and payments
• Administrative tasks
• Attending and conducting designated meetings

What Happens on the Day

Important Instructions

• The appointment is strictly on a contract basis for specified work and is not an appointment against a regular sanctioned post.
• Selected officers will not be granted any administrative or financial powers.
• This contractual appointment does not confer any right or claim for inclusion in regular service or permanent absorption in government service.
• The initial appointment period will be for a maximum of 1 year, renewable annually up to a total maximum tenure of 3 years depending on requirement and government resolution provisions.
• A panel of eligible candidates will be prepared, from which contractual appointments will be made as per organizational requirements.
• The Chief Executive Officer, MMGPA Mumbai, reserves the right to terminate the service of any appointed candidate without prior notice.
• Direct or indirect lobbying or bringing influence regarding empanelment will lead to disqualification from the selection process.
• The Chief Executive Officer reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies, or suspend, postpone, or cancel the selection process at any stage.
• Candidates who fail to attend the walk-in interview in person will not be considered for the selection process.
• Accommodation, travel, and telephone allowances combined are admissible up to a maximum of 25% of the monthly honorarium as per the provisions of the Government Resolution.
