- Assistant: Holding analogous posts on regular basis in parent cadre or Department, or 3 years of regular service in Grade Level-4. Degree from a recognised University or equivalent. Knowledge in word processing. 30 wpm in English Typewriting or 25 wpm in Hindi Typewriting.
- Junior Translation Officer (JTO): Master's Degree in Hindi/English with English/Hindi as a main subject at degree level, or Master's Degree in any subject with Hindi as medium and English as compulsory subject, or Bachelor's Degree with Hindi and English plus diploma/certificate in translation or 2 years translation experience. Knowledge in word processing and use of Hindi software.
