How the Rank List Is Prepared (Selection Process)
- Rank List I: based on marks scored in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology together in the final year of the qualifying examination (maximum 300 marks).
- Rank List II (BASLP): based on Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics/Computer Science/Statistics/Electronics/Psychology together (maximum 300 marks).
- Rank List III (BPO): based on Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics, and English together (maximum 400 marks).
- Marks from boards other than Kerala's Directorate of Higher Secondary Education are normalized using a standard formula so that scores are comparable across boards.
- Tie-breaking: Higher marks in Biology, then Chemistry, then Physics, then overall Plus One + Plus Two percentage, then English marks, then higher age - applied in that order for Rank List I. A similar sequence (Chemistry, Physics, third subject, aggregate, English, age) applies for Rank Lists II and III.
Exact marks, cutoffs, or individual candidate scores are not available in the official notification beyond what candidates can view after logging in with their Application Number, Registration ID, and Password.
