Age Limit

The upper age limit is 40 years as on 31 May 2026. The notice calls this date the "closing date". Educational Qualification

Essential Experience

You need 5 years of experience after your qualification, counted from the date you qualified. Under this heading the notice lists:

• External and internal electric works, HVAC, BMS works, data management and fire fighting systems in different types of buildings
• Designing and testing electrical systems and components
• Testing to make sure systems and components meet safety standards
• Troubleshooting and fixing technical problems while installing and maintaining electrical systems
• Documenting tests and the specifications of electrical components and systems
• Keeping up with new technologies, industry standards and regulations

Preferred

Proficiency in computers is preferred.

Age Relaxation

The upper age limit applies to general category candidates. Age relaxation for SC, ST and OBC candidates follows Government guidelines. These candidates must send a copy of their caste certificate with the application form.

Selection Process

1. Candidates are shortlisted based on their academic qualification and experience. If response is very high, JSBCCL may shortlist using revised eligibility criteria.
2. Shortlisted candidates are called for a Personal Interview. The list and interview dates are published on the website, which the notice prints as www.jsbccljharkhand.gov.in. Candidates are also told by email. No other method of contact is used.
3. The final selection depends on your interview performance and is subject to document verification. After that, the "Offer of Appointment" is issued.

If a candidate is not suitable for the post they applied for, JSBCCL may offer a suitable post at a lower level.

Service Conditions

• The job is on contract for a maximum of three years. It can be extended for further years if your performance is satisfactory.
• You may be posted anywhere in the state, as the company requires.
• Your appointment depends on a satisfactory medical certificate from a Govt. Hospital, to the standard JSBCCL sets. Your caste and character certificates must also be verified by the authorities concerned.

If you cannot get an NOC, you may give an undertaking at document verification that you will not claim service transfer benefits or pay protection. If selected, you must bring a relieving order when you join.
• If your name is spelled differently in different certificates: bring a certificate from the SDM or an equivalent officer. Women who changed their surname after marriage need a marriage certificate and a notarised affidavit.
• All original certificates must be produced at document verification. If you cannot produce them, you will be disqualified.
• Incomplete applications are rejected outright. You cannot add information after you submit.
• Keep your email ID active for at least one year. You cannot change it once you have entered it, and all correspondence is by email.
• Canvassing of any kind disqualifies you. Legal disputes fall under the courts at Ranchi.
