JNPA SEZ 2026 – Apply Offline for Manager Project and Fire Superintendent Recruitment Posts

Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority Special Economic Zone (JNPA SEZ) has notified vacancies for Manager Project and Fire Superintendent posts on a contract basis, with applications to be submitted by speed post, registered post, or by hand to Chief Executive Officer, JNPA SEZ, Udhyam Bhavan, Sawarkhar, Uran, Navi Mumbai on or before 28 October 2026. This contract engagement has a tenure of two years. Eligible applicants must hold a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or a Degree in any discipline with an Advanced Diploma in Fire Engineering. The position offers a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 1,00,000 per month plus allowances, and candidates will be selected through experience evaluation, educational qualification evaluation, and an interview.

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

Manager Project Eligibility and Criteria

• Qualification: Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Civil / Electrical / Mechanical / Infrastructure Engineering) from a recognized University or Institute in India.
• Experience: Minimum 20 years of experience working for Major Port/ industrial park/ SEZ/ shipping infrastructure organisation such as CFS, logistic park (of minimum capacity of 2 million TEU’s per annum) etc. in executive/ managerial cadre, out of total experience at least 05 years experience in the executive cadre of a pay scale Rs. 40,000 - Rs. 1,20,000 or above. Desirable experience in contract management, SAP, and GeM/CPP Portal.
• Age Limit: Maximum age 55 years for individual consultant or 65 years Maximum for Retired Port/ Govt. officers/ employees. Management may give relaxation for deserving candidates.

Fire Superintendent Eligibility and Criteria

• Qualification: Degree in any discipline and Advanced Diploma in Fire Engineering Or “M.I. (Fire – U.K.)” Or “M.I. (Fire – India)” OR A person holding a Higher Education Qualification in the subject of Fire Engineering. Membership of the Institute of Fire Engineers (India) is desirable.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in port expert /State /Municipal /SPA Fire Department as Chief Fire Officer/Chief Fire Superintendent or Fire Superintendent.
• Age Limit: Maximum age 60 years for individual consultant or 65 years Maximum Retired Port/ Govt. officers/ employees. Management may give relaxation for deserving candidates.

Selection Process

Selection for the posts is based on an evaluation criteria combining experience, qualifications, and an interview.

• Manager Project Evaluation Criteria: Experience (15 Marks: Port Sector = 15, Others = 10), Qualification (15 Marks: Diploma in Engg = 10, Degree in Engg = 15), and Interview (20 Marks).
• Fire Superintendent Evaluation Criteria: Experience (15 Marks: Port Sector = 15, Others = 10), Qualification (15 Marks: Advance Diploma in Fire Engg = 10, Degree in any discipline = 15), and Interview (20 Marks).
