About ILBS

The Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences is an autonomous super-specialty institute under the GNCT of Delhi and a Deemed-to-be-University recognised by the UGC. It is located at D – 1, Vasant Kunj, Delhi. Its work covers patient care, teaching and research in liver, gall bladder and pancreatobiliary diseases.

Selection Process

1. The Screening Committee checks all applications against the Recruitment Rules for the post.
2. Shortlisted candidates are called for an interview.

ILBS may limit the number of candidates called for interview. It can do this by looking for qualifications and experience above the advertised minimum and for other academic achievements. It may reject any application without giving a reason. It will not answer questions about how interviews are run or why a candidate was not called. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.

Service Conditions

• Each appointment is on a contract basis for one year.
• Either side can end the contract with at least three months' notice in writing, or with salary in place of the notice period.
• The joining date and other conditions follow the Institute's HR policy.
• Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi/New Delhi only.
