Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Post-Graduation in agricultural Sciences/ Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Botany/Genetics; Each degree and diploma should be from a UGC recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum two years' experience in the relevant area of research
- Age limit: 21 to 45 years (as on date of advertisement)
- Age relaxation: women 5 years, SC/ST 5 years, PwD 10 years
Other conditions:
- The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in interview
Desirable:
- Post 1: Experience of wet lab work in Next generation sequencing, transcriptomics, real time PCR and routine molecular biology techniques
- Post 2: Knowledge of programming in linux/R/.Proficiency in using licenced and open source software for NGS data analyses
Pay and Terms of Engagement
- 3 years duration, initial engagement for one year with extension of tenure for two more years on yearly basis based on satisfactory performance
