EIL Associate Engineer Selection Process 2026

There is no written test. Selection is through screening followed by a Personal Interview.

  • On the day of the interview, applications and certificates are first screened to confirm eligibility for the post applied.
  • Only candidates meeting the eligibility requirements in all respects proceed to the Personal Interview.
  • Depending on the number of candidates, interviews may run until 8:00 PM on the same day, and may continue the next day if required – candidates must make their own stay arrangements in such cases.
  • Furnishing wrong or false information is a ground for disqualification; EIL will not be responsible for any resulting disqualification.
  • The selected candidate will be allowed to join only if found medically fit.

  3. Fill in the online form with correct details. Round the percentage of marks down to the nearest whole number (e.g., 60.9% → 60), and round CGPA down to one decimal (e.g., 6.95 → 6.9).
  4. Keep scanned copies ready before starting registration: a recent passport-size colour photograph (.jpg/.jpeg, max 75 KB) and signature (.jpg/.jpeg, max 25 KB).
  5. Complete registration between 25 August 2026 and 08 September 2026 (23:59 hrs).
  6. You do not need to send a printout by post. Instead, take a printout of the registered application form (6 copies), affix a colour photograph, and bring these copies to the walk-in interview.
Important: A candidate can apply for only one position in this advertisement. In case of multiple applications, only the latest one is considered final. Candidates who have not submitted their online application will not be entertained at the interview.
