Eligibility and Qualifications
- General Eligibility: Officers/Officials who have retired from Central/State Govts., PSUs, Autonomous Bodies, Universities, Govt. R&D Organizations possessing practical knowledge and experience in the relevant field with an unblemished service record.
- Age Limit: The maximum age limit for all categories of retired Govt. employees for applying will be 63 years as on the closing date of application.
- Post Code 2026/DMRL/370: BSc or Diploma in Metallurgy / Chemical Engineering (MSc in Chemistry or B.E./B.Tech. in Metallurgy / Chemical Engineering desirable) with at least 15 years of experience in extractive metallurgy.
- Post Code 2026/DMRL/371: Diploma in Metallurgy / Mechanical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech. desirable) with at least 10 years of experience in Melting and Casting of Metals and Alloys or Powder Metal Processing or Mechanical Deformation processes involving forging or rolling.
- Post Code 2026/DMRL/372: Diploma in Physics or Metallurgy (M.Sc. in Physics or B. Tech. in Metallurgy desirable) with 10 years of experience in NDT of engineering components.
- Post Code 2026/DMRL/373: Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering (B.E./B. Tech. desirable) with at least 10 years of experience in maintaining electrical furnaces (resistance/induction) / ovens / electrical equipment.
- Post Code 2026/DMRL/374: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or 15 years of experience in designing of components (Diploma in Tool Design or BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering desirable).

The engagement is on a short-term contract basis initially for a period of one year, and extendable as per norms based on the approval of the competent authority.
