About DIBD-DIC

The Digital India BHASHINI Division (DIBD) is an Independent Business Division under Digital India Corporation (DIC), with its Delhi office at Electronics Niketan, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. It manages and executes BHASHINI, the National Language Translation Mission, an initiative of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology under the Digital India Program. Age Limit

Mandatory Qualification and Experience

• A Full time B.S./B.Tech. /B.E. or equivalent degree or B.Sc. (IT/CS) with a Post-Graduation in a Technical Background may be considered.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP, including compute, storage, networking, and security services.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and observability tools, and applying DevOps practices for high-availability and performance optimization.

Preferred

• MBA/M. Tech.
• Strong proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling and service networking (an added advantage).
• Proven experience in Infrastructure-as-Code and automation using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef or Puppet.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking (VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, load balancers, firewalls) and data platforms (SQL/NoSQL databases, caching systems).

Role and Responsibilities

The Cloud Engineer will design, implement and manage scalable cloud infrastructure, keeping systems secure, reliable and optimized for performance while supporting application deployment and operations. The notice lists these duties:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, high-availability technical solutions inspired by large digital platforms.
• Translate business and functional requirements into end-to-end technical architectures and solution designs.
• Support onboarding and integration of partner applications and services into the platform ecosystem.
• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure for AI, data and application workloads.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code and automation using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation and Ansible.
• Implement cloud operations best practices, including autoscaling, configuration management and cost optimization.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for platform and application deployments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize cloud and application environments for performance and reliability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams and solution blueprints for internal teams and partners.
• Work with internal teams to identify gaps, improve processes and enhance solution delivery.
• Deliver customer service in a client-facing role, using strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Selection Process

Service Conditions

• The position is purely temporary, for the project of DIBD-Digital India Corporation.

• The appointment can be terminated with one month's notice, or without notice on payment of one month's salary in lieu.
• The place of posting is Noida/Delhi or other locations as per project requirements. Candidates from other locations may also be considered if deemed suitable.
• The role requires flexibility and availability to travel as and when business needs demand it.
