Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT) is recruiting candidates for 1 Research Associate (RA) post on a temporary basis for 04 months or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier. Eligible candidates holding a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from a recognized University, with an age not to exceed 35 Years as on 30th October, 2026, can attend the walk-in interview on 30th October, 2026 at the Institute as specified in ADVT. No. 30-2026/RA/DIAT. The position carries a consolidated pay of ₹67,000/- and applicants must bring original certificates and testimonials together with a set of attested copies for detailed scrutiny.

DIAT Research Associate (RA) Age Limit

The upper age limit for the Research Associate (RA) post is not to exceed 35 Years as on the crucial date of 30th October, 2026. Upper age-limit is relaxable up to 05 years for SC/ST, Women & PwBD and 03 years for OBC (NCL) candidates.

DIAT Research Associate (RA) Stipend and Benefits

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹67,000/- (Consolidated). In addition to the monthly stipend, medical facilities limited to MI Room facilities shall be extended.

Candidates must attend the walk-in interview on 30th October, 2026, at 1100 Hrs at the Institute. Candidates must bring their original Certificates/Testimonials etc along with a set of attested copies of each for detailed scrutiny.
