Post-Wise Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility and required experience will be calculated as of 31 July 2026. Applicants must also satisfy all conditions prescribed in the applicable CNCI Recruitment Rules.

Pay Level

Selection Process

The promotion process will be conducted through selection by the Departmental Promotion Committee. Selection will follow the CNCI Recruitment Rules and relevant Government of India regulations.

Merely satisfying the eligibility requirements does not guarantee promotion. The Departmental Promotion Committee will examine the employee’s eligibility, service details, experience and submitted documents.

How to Apply for CNCI Internal Promotion 2026

1. Obtain the prescribed internal promotion application form.
2. Select the post for which promotion is sought.
3. Enter the employee’s name, employee code, category and current designation.
4. Provide the date of appointment in the current post and the date of joining CNCI.
5. Enter the initial and present pay levels.
6. Provide the number of years of service in the current post.
7. Enter the date of the last promotion, if applicable.
8. Provide details of qualifications acquired during service at CNCI.
9. Attach all necessary supporting documents.
10. Sign the declaration and submit the hard copy through the Head of Department or Section.
11. Ensure that the forwarded application reaches the Director, CNCI, by 30 September 2026.
