CSB Young Professional Recruitment 2026 Salary

Selected Young Professionals will receive a monthly remuneration of ₹70,000/-, inclusive of all applicable taxes; no other facility will be provided. Remuneration may be enhanced annually based on performance:

CSB Young Professional Recruitment 2026 Important Instructions

  • The engagement is purely contractual - a Young Professional shall not be regarded as a 'staff member' or 'official' of CSB, and no employer-employee relationship is established
  • Engagement is initially for 2 years, extendable based on performance evaluation and approval of the Member Secretary, CSB
  • The engaged candidate must mandatorily complete the "Dakshta for Young Professionals" course on iGOT within 2 months of joining
  • Working hours are generally 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM with a half-hour lunch break; late sitting or working on holidays during exigencies will not attract additional remuneration
  • Paid leave is granted at 1.5 days per completed month; leave cannot be accumulated beyond the calendar year, and absence for up to one month may be considered without remuneration (paid on pro-rata basis)
  • Women Young Professionals may be eligible for maternity leave as per the Maternity Benefit (Amendment) Act, 2017
  • The engagement can be terminated by either party with 30 days' notice or pay in lieu thereof; CSB reserves the right to terminate immediately for serious failure to perform or breach of conduct
  • Engagement is subject to verification of educational and experience documents; false or incorrect information will lead to immediate termination and further action as per rules
  • Candidates must submit a police verification report and a medical-cum-fitness certificate from an authorised Medical Practitioner prior to engagement
  • The period of engagement will not confer any claim or right to subsequent employment with CSB or any other Government Department
  • Any dispute or grievance is to be addressed to the Member Secretary, Central Silk Board, and settled as per the Contract's grievance/arbitration provisions
