Bengal Gas Company Limited (BGCL) has announced 29 vacancies for Assistant Associate (Project/O&M), Associate (Project/O&M), Sr. Associate (Project/O&M), Assistant Associate (Finance & Accounts), Associate (Finance & Accounts), Assistant Associate (C & P), Sr. Associate (Civil), Senior Associate (HR), Assistant Associate (BIS), Associate (BIS), Associate (GIS), Associate (CA) and 3 more posts on a contract basis. This fixed term employment is for a maximum period of 03 years with initial 06 months probation under advertisement number BGCL/OPEN/MISC/7/2026. • Assistant Associate (Project/O&M): Full Time Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Technology or B.Sc Engineering (04 years with minimum 60% marks) in Mechanical, Production, Production & Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical & Instrumentation, Electronics, Electronics & Communication, or Electrical & Electronics, with minimum 03 years post qualification experience. Upper age limit: 37 years.
• Associate (Project/O&M): Engineering degree in specified branches with minimum 60% marks and minimum 06 years post qualification experience. Upper age limit: 41 years.
• Sr. Associate (Project/O&M): Engineering degree in specified branches with minimum 60% marks and minimum 09 years post qualification experience. Upper age limit: 50 years.
• Assistant Associate (Finance & Accounts): CA/ICWA/CMA with minimum 50% marks in final examination and Fellow/Associate membership of ICAI/ICWAI/ICMAI with minimum 01 year experience, OR two years full time MBA with Specialization in Finance with minimum 50% marks and 03 years experience, OR B.COM/M.COM with minimum 50% marks and 03 years experience. Upper age limit: 37 years.
• Associate (Finance & Accounts): CA/ICWA/CMA with minimum 50% marks and ICAI/ICWAI/ICMAI membership with minimum 03 years experience, OR MBA in Finance with 50% marks and 06 years experience, OR B.COM/M.COM with 50% marks and 06 years experience. Upper age limit: 41 years.
• Assistant Associate (C & P): Full time Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Technology or B.Sc Engineering (04 years) in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Instrumentation, Metallurgy, Civil, Production, IT, Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunication, Industrial, or Petrochemical with minimum 60% marks OR full time MBA/PG Diploma in Management with specialization in Material Management, Supply Chain Management, Production Management, or Project Management with minimum 50% marks, plus 03 years experience. Upper age limit: 37 years.
• Sr. Associate (Civil): Full time Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Technology or B.Sc Engineering (04 years) in Civil with minimum 60% marks and minimum 09 years post qualification experience in Civil. Upper age limit: 50 years.
• Senior Associate (HR): Two years full time MBA/MMS/MSW with specialization in Human Resource Management, Personnel Management & Industrial Relations with minimum 50% marks OR full time Master Degree / PG Diploma in Personnel Management / Personnel Management & Industrial Relation with minimum 50% marks, plus minimum 09 years experience. • Assistant Associate (BIS): Full time Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Technology or B.Sc Engineering (04 years) in Computer Science/Information Technology with minimum 60% marks OR 03 years Master Degree in Computer Application (MCA) with minimum 60% marks, plus minimum 03 years experience. Upper age limit: 37 years.
• Associate (BIS): Computer Science/IT Engineering degree or MCA with minimum 60% marks and minimum 06 years experience. Upper age limit: 41 years.
• Associate (GIS): MTech / M.Sc. in Geoinformatics / Remote Sensing & GIS with minimum 60% marks and minimum 06 years post-qualification in-line experience in CGD (City Gas Distribution). Upper age limit: 41 years.
• Associate (CA): BE/B.Tech / B.Sc (04 years) in any Branch of Engineering with minimum 60% marks and minimum 06 years post qualification experience in Project Management / Corporate Affair Activities in Hydrocarbon / CGD / EPMC / Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Fertilizer sector. Upper age limit: 41 years.
• Sr. Associate (F&S): Bachelor Degree in Engineering / Technology or B.Sc Engineering (04 years) in Fire/Fire & Safety with minimum 60% marks (preference for one year Diploma in Industrial Safety) and minimum 09 years post qualification experience. Upper age limit: 50 years.
• Associate (Marketing & Commercial): Two years full time MBA/PGDM/MMS with specialization in Marketing / Finance/ Oil & Gas / Petroleum and Energy with minimum 50% marks and minimum 06 years post qualification experience. Upper age limit: 41 years.
• Sr. Associate (Marketing & Commercial): Two years full time MBA/PGDM/MMS with specialization in Marketing / Finance/ Oil & Gas / Petroleum and Energy with minimum 50% marks and minimum 09 years post qualification experience. Upper age limit: 50 years.

Pay and Tenure

Positions are on Fixed Term Employment for a maximum period of 03 years with initial 06 months on probation. Consolidated monthly remuneration details are:

• Assistant Associate: Basic Pay Rs. 45,000, HRA Rs. 12,000, Other Allowances Rs. 8,000. Total Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 65,000.
• Associate: Basic Pay Rs. 55,000, HRA Rs. 15,000, Other Allowances Rs. 10,000. Total Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 80,000.
• Sr. Associate: Basic Pay Rs. 70,000, HRA Rs. 19,000, Other Allowances Rs. 11,000. Total Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 1,00,000.

Other benefits include Provident Fund, Reimbursement of Medical Insurance for self, spouse, and first two children, Group Personal Accident Insurance, and Leave. First annual increment will be added after completion of one year from the date of joining subject to experience and caste verification, and second annual increment after one year thereafter.
