Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University is a Central University located at Vidya Vihar, Raebareli Road, Lucknow-226025. The application form asks for these details: name of the department; personal details (name, date of birth, father's and mother's name, nationality, gender, religion, community/category, marital status, disability particulars, postal address with PIN code, email and mobile number); educational qualifications from High School to Ph.D. and others; whether the Ph.D. has been awarded with dates of registration, submission and notification; NET UGC/CSIR or an equivalent exam (SLET/SET); a chronological list of experience; total teaching (UG and PG level), post-doctoral, research and other experience; publications in the last five years; academic distinctions; present position with pay; three references; and a signed declaration.

The email address you give in the form matters. Letters or notices for the interaction will be sent only to it, BBAU will not be responsible for an invalid or wrong email id, and no communication will be sent by post. Incomplete applications will be out-rightly rejected.

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

• Who can apply: Retired Professors from the Universities.
• Qualification: The minimum qualifications shall be as per UGC (Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and other Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education) Regulations, 2018.
• Preference: Mere fulfilment of minimum qualifications does not confer any right to engagement. Higher qualification and/or academic/research achievements may be preferred.
• Age limit: Retired Professors should not have attained the age of 70 years on the closing date of application. The notice does not mention any age relaxation.
• Cut-off for qualification and experience: Counted as on the last date of the application form.
• Pay: Fixed remuneration of Rs. 70,000/- shall be paid per month inclusive of all.
• Nature of engagement: Purely temporary, for one academic session; candidates will not have any claim whatsoever for appointment or absorption on any regular position.
• Duty timings: May be staggered and as decided by the University.
