The Opportunity: We invite applications for a Full-Time Assistant Professor position in Bioinformatics. The successful candidate will establish a vigorous, externally funded research program and contribute to our undergraduate and graduate teaching missions, specifically bridging large-scale biological data generation with advanced computational analysis. We are looking for a candidate with demonstrated expertise in Omics and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML). The School has active research in Systems Genomics, Next Generation Sequencing, Functional Genomics, and the application of ML and AI/NLP in bioinformatics. The candidate is expected to complement and expand these strengths.
