Akashvani Delhi Age Limit

Candidates must be between 21 years of age and not more than 50 years of age.

Selection comprises two stages: (1) Written exam (2) Interview. The written exam carries 50 or more marks to assess professional ability and knowledge, and has a duration of three hours. Candidates scoring 50 or more marks in the written exam will be called for an interview. The Selection Committee will assess overall personality and suitability for radio news. Final inclusion in the panel requires approval from Director General (News).

Casual News Reader-cum-Translator (Hindi) Selection Process

Selection comprises two stages: (1) Written exam (2) Voice test and interview in the relevant language. The test carries 100 marks and a three-hour duration. Candidates scoring 50 or more marks in the written exam will be called for the voice test to test voice quality, modulation, delivery style, pronunciation, and accent. The Selection Committee may recommend candidates scoring 50 or more marks in the voice test and interview for approval by Director General (News).
