The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Training Centre For Disability Sports, Gwalior operates under the aegis of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India. Located opposite IIITM, Morena Link Road, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, the centre invites direct recruitment applications for the Accountant post governed by GOI orders, with selected candidates covered under the National Pension System (NPS) introduced w.e.f. 01.01.2004.

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

Essential Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Economics/other related subject dealing with financial management from a recognized University.
• Having 2 years working experience in a public/reputed private organization/sector dealing with Accounts/cash/Budget/other related field in financial management.
• Working knowledge of computer

Desirable Qualification

• Professional Degree/Diploma in cost accounts from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI).
• Experience in dealing with matters relating to disabled sports persons.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit is 40 years (For SC/ST – 45 years, for OBC – 43 years). Age relaxation of 10 years (15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC candidates) in upper age limit shall be allowed to Person with Disabilities (PwD) suffering from (a) blindness or low vision, (b) hearing impairment and (c) locomotor disability or cerebral palsy subject to the condition that maximum age of the applicant on the crucial date shall not exceed 56 years.

Application Fee

Application fee of Rs. 500/- (non-refundable) drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of the CENTRE FOR DISABILITY SPORTS GWALIOR, payable at Gwalior should be submitted along with each application. No fee is prescribed for SC/ST/PH and Women candidates.

Selection Process

The position will be filled on merit by way of written examination as per the revised guidelines of Govt. of India. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for written test. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written examination.

Important Instructions

• The post will be filled on direct recruitment basis and will be governed by GOI orders on direct recruitment. The candidates selected on DR will be covered under NPS introduced by GOI w.e.f.01.01.2004.
• Mere possessing essential qualifications/experience will not entail any candidate a right to be considered eligible for the post.
• The applications received without requisite documents or received after the last date will not be entertained. Advance copy of application received from an eligible candidate before last date of receipt of application may be considered provided duly forwarded application with required documents is received before the interview for selection is scheduled.
• The department / organization while forwarding application may please ensure that the officials who apply for the post shall not be allowed to withdraw their candidature later on in case of their selection.
